For the Future
In the coming era, AI and scientific technologies will continue to advance. At the same time, the value of things that cannot easily be copied or reduced to data—embodied experiences and traditions handed down through generations—will only grow greater.
No matter how far digitalization progresses, the sensations and comfort that arise from directly touching what nature has created, and the rich experiences that follow, cannot be fully reproduced.
Attempting to replace that texture and warmth with technology demands enormous cost and complex processes.
That is why we want to turn our eyes once again to the materials that have long been close to us and to the wisdom behind them, and explore their possibilities through a modern lens.
